The skimmers are missing the spring loaded, skimmer restricting check valve that prevents water from entering the skimmer through the equalization port and reducing flow over the weir. This reduces the effectiveness of the skimmers. The check valve is item # 5 on the diagram provided, see back of this sheet.

The water line comes into the pump room from the floor. It goes up to a tee with one leg of the tee going directly to the pool plumbing. There is a reduced pressure (RPZ) back flow preventer in the line going to the domestic water. This set up does not protect the drinking water. The RPZ should be in the line going to the pool fill after the tee and before the pool plumbing.
The back flow preventer was not installed in the water line to the pool fill pipe. The back flow preventer is to prevent pool water from getting into the domestic water not the other way around.
