23. 3-501.18; Priority; Containers of opened, TCS soups were marked with a 9-day discard date, verified while discussing date marking procedures with PIC. A food shall be discarded if it is appropriately marked with a date or day that exceeds a temperature and time combination as specified in the NC Food Code (7 days with the day of opening a package/container or the day of preparation being counted as day 1).
