Inspected Guest rooms #208, 219, 233, 431, 528, 615, 632...DISCUSSION: Guest room items/equipment such as ice buckets, refrigerators, interiors must be sanitized using approved sanitizers used for food contact surfaces (disinfectants MUST NOT be used on the items stated above). Peroxide multi-surface cleaner and disinfectant and bathroom cleaner and disinfectant must not be used on food contact surfaces or equipment where food may come in contact. Chemical sanitizers and other chemical antimicrobials applied to food-contact surfaces shall meet the requirements specified in "40 CFR 180.940," tolerance exemptions for active and inert ingredients for use in antimicrobial formulations (food-contact surface sanitizing solutions). ALWAYS use cleaners, disinfectants and sanitizers according instructions on product labels.
