.2806 (a); Cheerio`s (for one child only) were being kept in the original bag that had been opened and clipped close. Food shall be stored in approved, clean, tightly covered, storage containers once the original package is opened...Store this food in a resealable bag or container.

*Reminder that bulk foods (including cereal) may not be opened & poured/handled inside of the classrooms without a full food preparation area. The food shall be prepared inside of the kitchen and may be stored/served in the classroom once portioned. Pre-packaged food stored and handled is also fine.
