51. 5-202.14; Priority; At mop sink/can wash, observed a splitter with a backflow preventer (BFP) at hose bib. Water was turned on and hose was under pressure. The BFP on hose bib is not approved for constant water pressure and for a shutoff that is downstream from the BFP. Turn on and shut off the faucet at the wall (knobs) and release the excess water from the hose at the splitter when hose is not in use. CDI- Water was turned off at knobs and splitter was opened to release excess water. Educated PIC of requirement. 0.0
