Remove non chemical items. Move door to not be directly onto pool deck or create another storage room with ventilation outside of the pool deck. Obtain Wake County Environmental services on chemical room changes which must be completed prior to permitting in 2024 if not completely sooner. Discussed some options during inspection for correction. Get approval from WCES before implementing.

The pool in 25 feet wide. Found the throw rope on the ring buoy to be 43 feet long. The throw rope must be 1.5 times in length the width of the pool. The throw rope was cut to 37.5 feet in length during the inspection.

The latch was cleaned and some oil was added to the latch. The gate was also catching on the concrete when opened all the way so the gate would stay open. The gate must self-close and self latch. By cleaning the latch, adding oil to the latch, and bending up the bottom of the fence, we were able to make the gate self-closing and self-latching during the inspection.

Be sure the deck is in good repair so that it is free of trip hazards. Found the fill spout for the pool to be 16 inches from the ladder.
