Comment: The entrance gate had more than 4" between vertical members; on the right side of the gate distance was 4.5", on the far left side of the gate, distance was 4.75"; distance between vertical members shall not exceed 4". Small metal bands were added to the areas, gap was lessened to less than 4 inches. On the far left side of the outside of the pool fence, there is an area of the roof that is 24" from the bottom of the fence to the roof but it is exactly 30" from the roof to the lower horizontal member at the top of the fence. The fence was built prior to 2010 so this issue does not hold up the permit but does not meet current 45" requirement. Recommend adding metal mesh or other barrier to eliminate footholds.
