Facility is leaving the pull out couches made up but have a specific way that they fold the top sheet over to indicate that it is clean and per housekeeping manager they are checked every day. EHS to follow up and make sure this practice is ok. If it isn't EHS will notify the facility.
The two compartment sink in the laundry room is not needed and may be removed. This sink was used years ago before the breakfast area was remodeled. General Comments
The 2nd floor ice machine drain pipe needs to be air gapped, the drain pipe was down in the floor drain. Raise the drain to at least 1 inch above the floor drain.
Some chemical bottles were mixed up, disinfectant had been put into some of quat sanitizer bottles, do not mix chemicals. Some chemical bottles were not labeled, label all chemical containers.
The hot water in the guest rooms reaches only 106 F. Increase the temperature to 116-128 F.

General Comments
GC # 30 : Keep all storage in the storage rooms off the floor. Use dunnage racks for large, heavy boxes. There should be enough space under the bottom shelf to allow for easy floor cleaning. Gc # 2 : Increase lighting in front of the ice machines to 50 foot candles.
Note : Milk pitchers are in use. The facility does not have a restaurant permit. Use individual cartons of milk or a bulk milk dispenser.
Elevate all storage off the floor onto shelving in the 3rd floor storage room.

General Comments
Check possible ceiling leak on ceiling near entrance in Room 207. Back of freezer in Rm 207 nees a little cleaning. Shorten the plumbing drain pipe coming from the ice machine so that it does not hang into the drain. Housekeeping is doing a fantastic job!!
