Pre-K classroom is not equipped with a designated food prep area and does not meet the requirements to store lunch brought from home in the classroom. The school cafeteria is the designated kitchen for the Pre-K classroom.
**15A NCAC 18A .2800 Rules state: .2804(k)- Lunches, snacks, and other meals containing potentially hazardous foods shall be refrigerated at 45 degrees Fahrenheit or below and stored in the child care center kitchen or approved food preparation area.
