.2820(c). Spray bottles of soapy water, sanitizer, and disinfectant stored less than 5 ft. in an un-locked cabinet. Bulk soap stored less than 5 ft. in the same cabinet. Additionally, the labeling on a few spray bottles was smudged and not easy to read. Non-aerosol sanitizing solutions, approved disinfectants, detergent solutions, hand antiseptics, and hand lotions shall be kept inaccessible to children when not in use, but are not required to be in locked storage. These solutions shall be labeled as sanitizing, disinfecting, or detergent solutions. Hand soap other than that which is in bulk containers is not required to be kept inaccessible to children or in locked storage. Bulk soaps shall be kept inaccessible to children. A product shall be considered inaccessible to children when stored on a shelf or in an unlocked cabinet that is mounted a minimum vertical distance of five feet above the finished floor. EHS recommends installing additional shelving inside of this cabinet (5 ft. or above), or keeping the cabinet locked to ensure compliance. General Comments
The water fountain is functional; however, it is currently being used as a storage area for toys. According to the PIC, the water fountain has never been used as intended. This area may be better re-purposed by installing a handwashing sink in place of the water fountain, primarily to be used upon the children returning indoors from outdoor play. The current sink used for handwashing upon returning from outdoor play is the general handwashing sink, which is further away from the door (where the children go to and from outdoors) and is located directly next to the refrigerator.

Effective October 1, 2019, childcare centers are required to test all water outlets used for drinking or food preparation. Initial samples shall be collected by the childcare center within one year of the effective date of this Rule (.2816). Non-compliance with this Rule on the initial inspection on/after October 1, 2020 will result in a general comment. Subsequent inspections with non-compliance to this Rule will be assessed 6-demerits. Teachers are vacuuming the rugs and carpet as required (once per day). The school is assisting with the process only on Mondays and Wednesday. It is recommended that the classroom is vacuumed daily by the school.
